Featured Authors

David J. Lansner graduated from the University of Rochester in 1968 and from NYU Schoolhouse of Constabulary in 1971 and worked for legal services programs and the Legal Assistance Society Juvenile Rights Division in New York Urban center until 1979. Since then he has been in private practice in New York. In January, 1991, David and his wife, Carolyn A. Kubitschek, formed the law firm of Lansner & Kubitschek, which has eight attorneys, focuses on civil rights, family unit law and social security disability, and handles many pro bono and public involvement cases for parents who are involved with the kid welfare system and children who are the victims of mistreatment in foster care. Since 2001, David has been Co Chair of the New York State Child Protective Services Citizen Review Panel for New York City. He is the Co Chair of the North.Y.S. Denizen Review Console for Child Protective Services in New York City. He is a consulting editor for Bough's New York Civil Exercise volumes on ``Betrothed Deportment'' and ``Family Court Proceedings.''

Carrieri, Joseph R.

Joseph R. Carrieri graduated from Fordham University in 1958 and from Fordham Police force Schoolhouse in 1961. While in law school, Mr. Carrieri worked as a summer intern for the U.S. Attorney'south Office, Southern Commune, New York. Upon graduation, he became an associate with the Wall Street law firm of Blakely Platt Schmidt Hart & Fritz, where he represented his kickoff foster intendance agency, Speedwell Services for Children. In 1995 Mr. Carrieri formed his own police force firm of Carrieri & Carrieri, specializing in foster care and adoptions. He has written profusely in the field of foster care, including dozens of handbooks for Practising Law Found, where he chaired the annual Foster Kid Seminar. He has also written many manufactures on the topic of foster care and termination of parental rights for the New York Law Journal and has lectured to caseworkers of the Administration for Children's Services, Nassau Canton Department of Social Services, and Suffolk County Section of Social Services. Mr. Carrieri, in representing SCO Family of Services and Trivial Flower Children'due south Services, has tried over 1,000 termination of parental rights cases in all Family Courts of the City of New York and Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Mr. Carrieri has co authored New York Civil Exercise: Family Courtroom Proceedings, comprising four volumes and encompassing every attribute of family law, including adoptions, foster care, and termination of parental rights. He also has lectured widely to foster care agencies on the topics of custody, adoptions, and termination of parental rights. In add-on to his work with the police force business firm, Mr. Carrieri has written two sports books about the New York Yankees, entitled Searching for Heroes: The Quest of a Yankee Batboy and Joe DiMaggio: The Promise. Recently, Mr. Carrieri joined the Law Guardian Panel for Nassau County Family Court and the Law Guardian Ad Litem Panel for Surrogate's Courtroom, Nassau Canton.
